Cooking up some Tabs-on-top for Thunderbird.
Yep, that would be nice. :) (As it turns out, we have it, but you’re right that to be useful it would really need a two-line message item.)
Someone’s working on making the tab bar into a toolbar. So we could put all our buttons on it, and hide the other toolbar, and it would look something like this…
There are some interesting thoughts at the top about the different modes of email, RSS, and Twitter, and then some interesting numbers at the bottom.
Anecdotal evidence suggests that most people use the folder view switching arrows once, at startup, to switch to the view they want to use. After that, any clicks are accidental and frustrating. I’m thinking of removing that line entirely, and using the space to display more folders. (People would still be able to use the menu to switch views, just like all the other display options for that tab.)
Thoughts? How often do all of you use the folder view switching arrows?
