About Toggling Tabs on Top...
Tabs on top is scheduled to land in Thunderbird 11, and we’re pretty excited.
A few folks on Bugzilla have been wondering about how they can switch back to Tabs on Bottom, and have been shocked to find that such a toggle is missing. A bug was filed by a concerned user, asking us to put the toggle in. They were concerned that we were restricting customization and flexibility by not allowing...

Anonymous asked: Sure would be nice to have a three vertical column layout (folders, messages, current message). This particular layout allows showing a lot of messages, but not given the current message list layout. I think it's time to have an option to display a message item across two lines (line 1: from, date; line 2: subject).

I’m not sure I want my mother or boss seeing all my tweets when I send them email, but this is still an interesting idea, and will probably help connect people in a more meaningful way.
